O. B. What's it mean?

Welcome to my first blog. I will tell you my story as I experience it of how I am going from a j.o.b. to financial success. This will be fun for me and I expect for you as well.

First, So what do I mean spelling J.O.B. this way? Care to take a guess? A few years ago I was told that I was in a J-O-B. I had to ask what that meant. I was told "Just Over Broke". Follow my meaning? So now when I refer to my J.O.B. that is how I see it. Why say it is just over broke? Lets break it down a bit.

SO what is a J.O.B.? Isn't it the place you go to work for money by following a set of rules and regulations, clocking in at a certain time each day and staying for up to 8 hours a day, performing tasks set forth by the work place? What happens when you wish to take time off to do something, whether it be important or a vacation? Here is what it is like for me at my work place:
I have a set time each day I am required to be there and have to be at my work station ready to work by 7 am. I get two paid 10 minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon with a 30 minute lunch at noon on my own time. I am allowed to leave for my lunch as long as I'm not late getting back. Since I work to far to really go anywhere and make it back in time, I do choose to stay, thus never leaving the work place until quitting time. The schedule is four 10 hour days Monday through Thursday. The problem is, I don't get to choose when to be there for work and I am required to have 40 hours of work time in whether it be from working, vacation pay, holiday pay, sick pay or a combination these. The total has to be 40 hours. Say I have a reunion I want to attend. I ask for the time off and it is approved as long as I have the vacation to cover it. So what happens if I don't have the vacation to cover it? Would I have to not go as I would have to have that 40 hours total? There is another way but it can be a very unpleasant experience. I could request for time off without pay or personal leave. Unless the reason is for personal needs I doubt it would be approved anyway. So where am I then? The stories of work place rules and regulations is endless. Then there is how much I get paid. I don't get to choose for myself how much I get paid. The company does. To some this may be a terrible thing to see, for others they see this as a better place as their place of employment is more strict.

My main point here is that while we work for others. We are under their rules and do as they say. Don't do what they say or follow their rules and there could be undesirable consequences, like getting fired and losing your only mode of income. You have to work there just to keep up on the bills, right?

There is another saying that I was taught that goes like this: I was stuck in the J.O.B. rut. We all know what a rut is. A place that once we get stuck in it, it is hard to get out of. Think of it this way. You're driving down a dirt road and your tire gets stuck in a deep rut. You keep trying to pull out of it but you are pulled right back in. Your J.O.B. is that rut. You are frustrated with your J.O.B. so you go and get a different J.O.B. hoping you will be better off. I asked how it was that I was to get out of this rut and stay out of it. I was told that the only way to do so was to work for myself. Be my own boss. I could then create my own hours and the kind of pay I wanted and be able to take the time away from work I would either need or want. WOW! This was wonderful news to me.

So how do I do it, I asked. There are countless ways to get there and which way is best for you only you can know. I tried a few things and non seemed to be what I really wanted. I thought about franchising but I have no capital to work with and no money down that is required for me to even begin looking at one. So I gave that idea up. So I thought I would start a business for myself. Again, the same problems. I also had no idea how to run a business. Like I mentioned before I tried MLM's, and though I like the way they can work, it wasn't for me. Then I came across online marketing. I was amazed to find what is out there in this line of marketing. There are so many to choose from and the thing is, I have found many to be hoaxes, until I came across this one in particular. There is no claim for a "get rich quick" scheme and there is a support system that works. For me this has been the down fall of my previous ventures. I had little or no support. I won't lie to you because at first I did struggle, until I started to use the tools that are in place.. I nearly quit at one point but because of the diligence and support of those that believe I have kept up the race, if you will. The title of my blog is "Laws of money attraction". My hope is that through these blogs I can help even if a few people get out from there J.O.B.'s and RUT's by portraying there hearts and desires to being free. Free from debt, time constraints, J.O.B.'s, RUTs, etc. You can fill in what ever you desire to be free from. I'm no expert on the subject, I only know it works and want to share what I know. It is also my hope that others will be able to put in their knowledge that pertains to this and so we all can grow and be FREE! So until next time, God bless and let's have some fun.

Stay tuned for more on my next blog.

Here is another way to slowly bring in some change and is free to sign up.
